Motion Graphic Designer

Job Title: Motion Graphic Designer

Reporting to: Digital Director
Objective: Through strong graphic design, messaging and motion you will create standout content for digital signage networks or instore digital solutions that elevate a brand experience in-store.

The Role
Working within our Digital team and across all clients the Motion Graphic Designer will be responsible for bringing static content to life for use across digital signage and in-store digital media solutions.

You should have a strong background in creative graphic design and more recently motion graphics. This role requires the creation of both static and motion graphics.

You will be able to understand and create a hierarchy of brand messages ultimately using animated digital content to ‘tell a story’. Your content will support and enhance a shopper’s journey in-store and help at key decision points along a purchase path.

At times you will be required to support Design, Marketing and Social Media in the communication of client’s brand and message externally.

Skills and experience
• Ability to effectively communicate ideas using sketches, storyboards, scamps etc.
• Natural flair for design with an eye for detail
• Ability to multi-task with strong time management capabilities
• Works well under pressure with quick turnaround projects
• Good interpersonal skills—works well in a team environment.
• Experience with client brand guidelines and adaption of these into graphics form
• Proficient in Adobe CC, including Photoshop Illustrator & InDesign
• Proficient in After Effects, Premier Pro & other motion graphics packages
• Background in digital signage content creation
• Knowledge of creating content for Web, HTML, CSS, etc
• Knowledge of UI/UX design
• 3 to 5 years in a Graphic design / Motion graphics role
Education
You will have a Graphic Design / Motion Animation Degree or equivalent.
