Estimator

Overview:

To produce estimates for clients using the Technique MIS system. The Estimator will be accustomed to taking responsibility for providing internal support and accurate estimates in line with production lead times & capability. Ensuring best practice, effective costing and competitive market price.

He/She will be a pro active person and a key communicator with the ability to deliver a professional, consistent, quality driven service.

Objects & Objectives:

• To produce estimates for the 5 and 6 colour web presses inclusive of Inline and 2 by 10 colour CutStar.
• To use methods of best practice when pricing, ensuring market competitiveness.
• To Liaise with clients and suppliers
• To offer cost effective alternative products to clients.
• To work closely with the Commercial Manager, ensuring pricing levels maximise sales and added value to the business.
• To undertake any other reasonable tasks and responsibilities as required by your line manager.
• To undertake all working practices in accordance with Health and Safety regulations and the rules laid out in the company handbook, utilising all protective equipment as provided by the company where required.
