Job Title: Direct Mail Account Manager
Position: Permanent
Salary: £40K to £45K DOE
Location: Leicestershire
Role: To manage jobs through the production process to ensure work is produced to
customer requirements, utilising skills and experience to ensure the company provides
a high level of customer service throughout the production journey of the job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately translate customer requirements into detailed works instructions to clearly
communicate all requirements to production.
- Ensure internal customer service processes are adhered to (as detailed in the Customer Service
Standard Operating Procedures), these include entering of milestone dates, proof and pass for
press events and order acknowledgements.
- Strive to offer a professional and consistently high standard of customer service to all clients on
all projects.
- Communicate effectively with customers at all times ensuring either verbal or written
communication is clear, precise and professional, ensuring that customer requests are
responded to quickly and resolved with a minimum requirement of acknowledging requests and
establish a suitable timeframe for response.
- Participate in and encourage team work between estimating, production and sales.
- Look for and highlight possibilities for more efficient ways of working or process improvement.
- Work closely with production and planning to ensure a smooth production work flow and co-
operate in problem solving should issues arise.
- Participate where possible in the timely resolution of customer complaints, escalating to the
Customer Service Manager where necessary.
Experience / Skills:
- Experience and knowledge within the Direct Mail industry.
- Have a thorough understanding of materials and production efficiencies.
- Efficient organiser with excellent communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Have experience working to very tight schedules and deadlines.
- Have the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Able to problem-solve.
